Our History

Baba Dogo 25 Travellers Sacco Ltd was founded on December 31, 2010, in response to a government initiative to streamline the public transport sector. This directive aimed to consolidate individual vehicle operators into organized groups and phase out lower-capacity vehicles in favor of higher-capacity ones, fostering a more structured and efficient industry.

Our Governance Structure

Baba Dogo 25 Travellers Sacco is duly registered under the Cooperative Societies Act 2004 as a society limited by shares. Our operations are guided by this Act, as well as our own Sacco by-laws.

The supreme governing body of our Sacco is the Annual General Meeting (AGM), whose resolutions are implemented by a democratically elected Management Board of nine officials. The Board operates through several key committees, including:
